The medieval castle of Naxos Town unveils a world of forgotten times with Latin conquerors held the island after the 13th century. Discover how some of the castle’s buildings are still being used and how its fortifications protected the city. Centuries after the Ancient Greeks had shaped their destiny by taking advantage of several strategic spots on the island, such as the Naxian Castle and the Temple of Apollo, the Latin occupiers followed in their footsteps.
