Description

Departing from Naxos Town, first stop is Melanes. In Flerio we will meet the famous "Kouros", one of the most striking examples of Naxian Art. Then follwos the village Kinidaros and the famous marble quarries of Naxos. We continue our tour in one of the oldest monasteries of Byzantine Balcasn, Drosiani Mary. Stretching ampitheatrically on teh slopes of two hills oat the foot of Zas, stands Filoti, the largest village of Naxos and Cyclades. After departing from Filoti and going through the beautiful plan of Tragaia, we stop in teh small picturesque hamlet Damalas, the renovated trdtional olive press and the pottery workshop. Our last stain is Pyrgaki. A beach with cedar trees ont eh southwetscosast of Naxos, which is ideal for swimming and relaxation. Then, we return to Chora, enjoying a magical joyrney fromthe southen beaches of the island.
